Red Wines
Argentine
Malbec
The Argentine Malbec has found uniquely favourable growing conditions
in Argentina and has no doubt created one of the most successful and
delicious Malbec wines in the world. A combination of desert climate,
cold nights, and irrigation of eternal snows from the Andes, creates
an especially healthy environment for these vines. An intense bouquet
of damson plums, blackcurrant and violet aromas give way to a slight
touch of hunting and leather notes. This richly purple coloured Malbec
carries a velvety texture with long, soft flavours. Although it ages
beautifully, firm tannins and mellow acidityallow this wine to be enjoyed
while young.
