Coopers

With a Coopers Brewing Kit and a little imagination, you can design your own 'hand-crafted' beer. Once you have mastered the basic art of brewing, you can experiment using the wide range of Coopers products which contain only natural ingredients - malt, hops, water and yeast.

Whether you're a dab hand at home brew or a potential new enthusiast, Coopers now has a range of brews to whet your appetite. Introducing the Coopers Brewmaster's Selection, four new varieties from the world's largest supplier of home brew concentrates.

Real Ale
Coopers Real Ale displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour and soft, fruity character. A true ale in style and colour.

Lager
Distinctive and refreshing to the taste, Coopers Lager is produced using the finest Australian premium malted barley and Tasmanian hops. When fermented these ingredients combine to produce a full-bodied lager.

Draught
A full and flavoursome beer displaying a clean, crisp taste with a subtle, bitter flavour. Coopers Draught displays a good head with a fresh, bright colour. This style is sometimes better described as a draught bitter.

Bitter
An old, traditional English style with aromatic hops and an especially large dose of malt. Bitter is a dark 'ruby' colour with a strong, refreshing flavour.

Classic Old Dark
Made with a selection of superior roasted malts from the finest South Australian two-row barley. Combined with selected Tasmanian hops this produces a dark, full and flavoursome beer called Classic Old Dark.

Canadian Blonde
A distinctively Canadian style beer with a light colour and fresh, crisp finish. An easy to drink, refreshing beer.

The Brewmaster Series:

India Pale Ale
This ale was developed by the English in 1832 to satisfy the homesick palates of British ex-pats. now you can enjoy the flavour and nostalgia imparted by this heavily hopped beer.

Wheat Beer
This brew takes inspiration from its German and Belgian ancestors. It has a taste that is refreshing and tart and a colour that is cloudy and light. A unique flavour for your home brew collection.

Nut Brown Ale
You don't have to hail the old country to enjoy this classic beer. This ale imparts a sweet richness with a slightly lighter colour than other brown ales. You'll find it a pleasure to drink.

Pilsener
Despite their turbulent history, the Czechs found time to create this world famous brew in the Bohemian city of Pilsen. Enjoy the flowery hop aroma and dry finish of this pale golden lager.
